Mike Strauss - Mike’s BBQ

Pitmaster Mike Strauss opened Mike’s BBQ at 1703 S. 11th Street in South Philadelphia in January of 2018, and earned "Best of Philly" honors from Philadelphia Magazine in his first year in business. The business is most famous for their brisket and spare ribs, as well as their brisket cheesesteak — a fan-favorite in Philadelphia. Mike runs the BBQ shop with his wife and Co-owner, Eylonah Mae Strauss, and Mike is also a partner at Sidecar Bar & Grille in Philly’s Graduate Hospital neighborhood.
